To see God in all of His creation.

Romans 1: 19-22  says

 

“19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world,[g] in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

As we look at the natural world, The Lord’s eternal power and divine nature are clearly visible in all of His creation.  

 

The desire to know more about God is the reason why modern science started with the reformation.

 

The only reason why people can not see his divine nature in creation is because they do not want to because of what it would mean.  Verse 23 does not say they are fools but that they became of as fools.  These can be very smart people but they are acting foolish because of the weight of their sin and they are trying to escape the consequences of their sin.

 

This is the reason why people like Richard Dawkins, Lawrence Krauss, Stephen Hawkins and Sean Carroll all have hostility against those of faith and will not even entertain the idea that there could be a God in heaven that judges the world of men.  Romans 8:6-8:  “The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God:  It does not submit to God’s Law, nor can it do so.  Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God.”

 

My prayer is not for a convincing argument but that students will see the God of the universe in the creation that He has made and because of that view of God they will be spurred on to salvation or righteousness in Christ.

 

Verity Math and Science Academy is committed to the education of people of all ages in the Biblical world view of science and specifically as it applies to origin theories, in cosmology, geology and biology.  

 

It is an exciting time to be a Christain following the Biblical world view of origins.  We now have theories that are based on Bibical principles that explain and predict  the observations scienctist are making even better than most of the naturalistic world view theories.

Our vision is that all believers are able to give account for the hope that is in them.

    • Job 12:7-10

       and the fish of the sea will declare to you.  Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this?   In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.      ​

  • Origins: Evidence of the futility of man's wisdom.  ​

    • Romans 1:18-19

    • For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.  For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.

    • The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.  Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.
