Origins: Evidence of the futility of man's wisdom.

Romans 1:18-25

 

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world,[g] in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

Nowhere is the futility of secular evolutionary theory or theology shown more than in the origin of the universe.  Hundred of billions of dollars have been spent trying to answer one of the basic questions of man.  Where did I come from?  Once the best and latest theories from physicist today and the predictions that their theories make are compared to creationist theories and the predictions their theories make.  The futility of their thinking becomes blatantly obvious.

The Solar System: God's evidence of His hand in creation

Psalm 19:1-6

​

1 The heavens declare the glory of God,
    and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
2 Day to day pours out speech,
    and night to night reveals knowledge.
3 There is no speech, nor are there words,
    whose voice is not heard.
4 Their voice goes out through all the earth,
    and their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tent for the sun,
5     which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber,
    and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy.
6 Its rising is from the end of the heavens,
    and its circuit to the end of them,
    and there is nothing hidden from its heat.

The solar system we live in is the one that we know best.  There are other solar systems that we have discovered but we do not know any of these other solar systems like we know this one.  It is simply awesome to see how creationist theories that we have had since the 80's describe phenomena that we see in the solar system.  And these theories are based on young Earth theology and they whole universe including our solar system declare the Maker of the universe.  

 

Noah's Flood "How did God Flood the Earth?": A an observation of what God thinks of sin.

Genesis 6:5-8

"The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. So the Lord said, “I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them.” But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord."

Admittedly this is one of the the weakest areas in creation science and creation science needs to spend more time in this area.  There is exciting new observations that have been made that are making this area very exciting for creationist and making secularly scientist scratch their head in disbelief.  It is appearing that the violent forces that God used to flood the Earth changed not only the Earth but the entire solar system.  The violent forces that the Lord used to accomplish flood should remind all men that there is coming another day when God will not just change our solar system but the entire universe which He made.  

 

There are several theories at how God flooded the Earth and we will look at the top theories.  There is much evidence in support of the Flood so we need not doubt that it was a world wide flood.  We will look at some of the evidence of the flood and some of the current theories of where the water came from. And some interesting insight into what the pre flood world was like.   And how it was drastically changed because of the flood.

2 Peter 3:3-7

"3 knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. 4 They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, 6 and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. 7 But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly."

Men deliberately overlook the fact of a worldwide flood, and nowhere is this more obvious than the Grand Canyon.  It has been hundred of years since discovery of the Grand Canyon and geologist still cannot settle on a the process that formed it.
